I have searched but not found an answer.
When fitting TL seats to a TJ the drivers seat is electric & has 2 wires of it one black & one blue & red striped.
Is it a matter of earthing the black to the floor & running the striped to perm power with a fuse or is there more than that to it.
Thanks in advance.

With the seat out of the car, hook the two wires up to a battery, and see if the control for the motors work as they should.
I bet the black is negative/earth, though.
The TL seat has an airbag, how did you deal with that? Should be some wires for that too, needs sorting before you hook it up to power.

The airbags have their own loom & im pulling them out as my TJ is non side airbag & I don't want to go through all the hassle of fitting the extra things to make them work.

Going to end up with a massive hole in the side of the seat, or are you gutting the airbag container and putting the empty box back in?
I have both a TJ and TL, TL seats are so much nicer, it's not funny. Need to find a TL at the wreckers with good seats first though.

I put a set of tl verada seats in my tj awd series 2 sports wiring was already there, but was not connected to the fuse box.I put a circuit breaker in the main battery cable to the seat wire.
