Just wondering what are the best type of mags for a 2nd gen Magna? Do 17's fit on the stock 14" 2nd gen magnas and if so what type of 17" wheels and are there any good mags that you would recommend? I was thinking of getting the mags off the BA XR6 that look like this. They have the same stud pattern 5 x 114.3 I think.

18's and even 19's should fit.

Nice set of 5 spoke wheels are very nice, Those BA XR6 Mags would prolly have Ford Symbols on them.

Hmm in WA we are only supposed to go 2" bigger than stock, so I wouldn't wanna go anything more than from 14" to 17". 17" is probably what I'm looking at.

in victoria it used to be that you could go 2" above stock rim size but thats changed. Now its that the new wheel including rubber cannot be more than 2cm larger than stock rubber. matters not what size rim you get only the profile of the tyres.

18s, 19s would be nice. There seem to be a lot of ford rims for sale on e-bay but i'm not sure whether the offset of the falcons are suitable for the magna. Anyways, honestly, I don't think they would really care that much regarding the size of your rims :nuts: Oh well, its a risk to take i guess. probably depend on the cop too.

another idea would be to get mitsubishi centre caps and replace the ford ones. no more ford symbol :cool:

The centre of the xr-6 mags have the Tickford symbol on them. I'm not sure if it's removeable

Scooter raises a valid point. I suppose you could bog up the Tickford symbol so that it is flat & respray the centre caps silver or event the colour of the car... just a thought.

I should probably just buy a BA XR6 instead :D
