I have a TJ2 Sports.
I finally have my hands on an upper dash loom (from a Verada KJ2) and a sexy white LED clock from a 97' Verada to compliment the blackout cluster from a KJ2 Verada I installed a few weeks ago.
I am in need of an upper dash wiring diagram for a KJ2 Verada. I have just laid out the harness on my kitchen table to try and work out what plugs into what. A few of the plugs are self evident but some are a complete mystery.
If someone has such a diagram that would be a great help. Otherwise I'd be flying blind trying to work it out on the hop...:ninja:

Mate, give it time, this place isn't as active as it used to be. If you want instant answers, post on the Facebook Page instead

Oh yeah Maggie, I was probably a bit tooo hopeful someone may be able to help in shut a short time period. I should have definitely posted a few days ago.
Anyway, I've got most of my dash pulled apart and have most of it worked out. There are just a few plugs that go somewhere down near the driver's right leg that I'm still tracing, but I'll get there. :D
It would be easier if my back did not hurt so much. You don't really appreciate your back until it does work like it should. Having a bad back sux! :(
I'm really looking forward to having my white LED clock up and working.
My new SatNav Stereo combo should arrive by courier today, so hopefully I can get that installed as well. :woot:

So, here is an idea, look at these forums, download the manual and look it up. That is what most would do and I doubt anyone has time to go hunting through manuals when you have the ability to do the same yourself.
Also, you post up late at night and then wonder why there are not replies the next morning ?? Think about it, people go to work and look when they come home in the evening and then will prob think the same as I have, why should they look it up when you have the resource here to get the same information

There is a large diagram on the PDF that not only details all the plug names but where they go and the connections they make.
The right knee connections are rather simple.
3 will go to the lower dash harness, and a handful may end up going to the steering column controls but I cannot remember which harness they are in which is why the diagram will be handy for you.
Happily, the TJ2 and KJ2 harness will be almost the same plug wise as they both use the same plugs just with more wires (verada)

Thanks mcs_xi for taking time to post.
I've actually just finished, it took a few hours but I ended up working it out. The hardest part was pulling the dash apart and routing the wires so everything fitted.

Madmagna, here is an idea get off your high horse and kiss my arse.
Of course my expectations were kind of high that someone may respond overnight and I admitted that in my post to Maggie.
Many of the people here are actually friendly (including myself when not responding to posts like yours) and don't mind helping others out, even when they could have looked up the information themselves. Virtually any question that could be asked here on the forum could be searched for on the forum and found in old threads, looked up via Google or in some technical manual. Does that mean members should not start new topics for fear of repeating some question?
Wiring is not my thing and for your info I did try to find a diagram myself before posting and was unable to locate one.

Sunshine, if you are not able to take some simple advice and look up a PDF file, then a forum is not the place for you.
As for your immature abuse, well all I can say is I will decline your extremely offensive offer.
Look at your posts, you post up at nearly 11pm and expect an answer by 9am.....really???? Sorry none of us had better things to do with our otherwise boring and non existant lives than to help you out. If you are up at 11pm then look at the manual yourself, not like you did not have time to do that. Had you asked the question and then asked if anyone could help 24 hours later would have been fair enough.
As for being friendly, I am more than happy to offer advice as many of my 14000 odd posts will show but only when people are asking genuine advice and not simply being a lazy ass.
Had you also stated that you had tried to find a diagram and you could not because of blah blah, then again would have been fair enough. What I saw was yet again someone being too lazy to do the hard yards and expecting a silver platter with the information to be handed to them.
