My TJ has the noisy Automatic Transmission symptom in the morning. Fluid drains from the torque pump and when I put the car into reverse, the pump cavitates. Does anyone know why the non-return valves fail? Is there an additive one can use to 'free' the valve so that it will seal properly? Maybe an additive one adds, then after a short interval drain and refill the auto transmission.
