Okay, here's the rub;
Arrived home from work today and the car is puking coolant from the water pump.
I now have a mostly disassembled car and a new water pump.
The catch is the engine bracket - how do I get that thing out or off?

Will need to move the alternator out of the way or remove it altogether. Support engine with jack, with timing belt covers off unbolt 4 x bolts (long)with stepped ring spanner (14mm I think) which hold bracket to engine block & remove from bracket (if possible due to proximity of engine bay rail). At front of block near alternator/AC compressor remove 1 x bolt, remove timing belt idler pulley. Bracket should slide out the top/bottom with minimal clearance.
Cheers

I got it out by jacking the engine slightly up. I just hope getting it all back together is a little easier.
Thanks for the help!
