G'day all. I've been a member here for some time and I've finally upgraded from my trusty TP to a TH. I've already begun modding the interior with some goodies but I'm concerned about modding the outside.
My question is whether it is better to get one piece or two piece parras for a TH (in terms of which is easier to fit). From what I've gathered, one of them requires ridiculous modification to parkers? and the other requires simple bracket swap and loom rewire, I just cant remember which one is what and which car I should source them from.

thanks in advance and apologies for asking a question thats probably been asked thousands of times.

tyr and find a tj/th/tf sports as they had normal parkers where as veradas had the external parkers, id go 2 piece as they are glass and wont discolour as fast where as the one piece will go yellow

The fitting of parkers is the same for each type. And they will both require re-wiring of the headlight plugs

Both are the same to fit in terms of time fitting.
Undoing the bolts on to top the guards will allow easier access to putting one piece in
If you get the glass two piece ,you MUST ensure you get the indicator bracket from the lights as they are different to the std brackets
No bracket required for the one piece.

From what I've gathered, one of them requires ridiculous modification to parkers?

Generally the paras come with parkers or without.
If it doesnt have parkers ,then ,it is off a Verada ,but ,there is a plug in the reflector, remove this and install the parker assembly from any second gen verada....they are easier to get.

VRX/Sports one piece will already have the parker

and the other requires simple bracket swap and loom rewire, I just cant remember which one is what and which car I should source them from.

Both sorts require a simple wiring modification to get the lights towork properly on low beam.

thanks in advance and apologies for asking a question thats probably been asked thousands of times.

.....plus..if you get two piece with the brackets ,you can still use your std clear indicators instead of the orange ones.

It's related, but unrelated.

I swapped the parabolics into my car, they're ex-VRX so do have parkers. However, the broken passenger side parker is a broken wire in the loom.

Are the headlights on their own loom? I still have access to the wreck. Do cars not fitted with foglights have the wiring present?
