KL had 25,000 k's on it in January 2012 and today i noticed its at 65,000.
40,000 k's in 2 years an 4 months. Thats about 17,000 k's a year average.
Which means it'll hit the big 100k mark in about 2 years time, or 150k in 5 years.
It wont match my KH's mileage until 9 years from now. The KH is still doing fine.
I have no clue how long i'll keep it but it seems like theres a while to go yet.
I wonder what the situation will be in 5 years time for parts?

The same that is now. The world of car parts is bigger than just OEM, most service parts can be sourced aftermarket.
I've had mine for a similar length of time to you, I bought mine in February 2012 with 179,000km, and it just ticked over 258,000km overnight. Its done 79,000km in my ownership (about 35,000km per year I've owned it, or 20,700km per year overall.)

Wow. Is that a 120Y, 180B or a 200B?

Biggest problem might be panels if you have a prang.
I visited MitsFix the other day for some stuff and Mal said that Mits no longer had front skirts/bumpers for my TW II VRX. He had the last new one.

The 44yr odl daddo was made in Japan, shipped world wide and also has become a bit of a cult car, every man and his dog makes parts for cars like these. The TL and W Magna were made for just on 2 years, aside from Aust a few went overseas and are a mum and dad car, numbers were limited thus the difficulty in finding some parts
