Hey peoples.
I've been through all the search results i can find, and there are many ambiguous answers... just want a definitive guide/yes-no answer if possible :)
I acquired a Nardi Auto Gear Shifter (5spd tip), and i want to swap it onto my '02 TJS1's 4spd auto shifter (which is the screw-on-the-back kind).
Questions are, a) is this possible? b) once unbolted, will it just slide over the 4sp auto shaft and rebolt up? c) if not, will the 5spd shaft assembly (which is attached via a long bolt at the bottom of the shifter) simply be taken out and swapped into the 4spd auto and work?
If someone can do up a guide with pics, or make a walkthrough in easy-to-understand terms, that would be amazing :)
Much Appreciated :)
