Hi all. I decided to start this off as my TE Altera is just about to turn 300. As the majority of 3rd gen Magnas are ballsy six's I thought I would group up a few 2.4L owners and pile some information together, as there is limited people out there currently driving anything 4G64 powered. I figured we could share some experiences, tips and tricks, known issues or niggling queries about problems related to Sirius powered Magnas. I know I have a few questions, and I am certain that I have some tips for others and others would probably have some tips as well, as a quick search brings up only a few 4G64 related dead threads.

Hopefully a few of us can chime in and help each other out. There aren't too many of us out there!

Gidday...My 2.4 is still going strong...only prob since new was a broken timing belt @ 221000 everything else is original... Happy motoring

Wow broken timing belt? I think the 16 valve 4G64's are an interference type motor so I hope it didn't cost too much. In this cars time I haven't had to replace much. There are a few things that need attention but I don't think they will. I doubt that I will have this car by the end of the year, which will be a shame.

I am curious about other peoples mods though. I always wanted to do more to the car but due to changes in my personal circumstances, never got around to it. It wasn't even mine to begin with it was the ex's and at that time I had my own one car to play with.
