I've only ever owned TS, TH and TJ Wagons (don't get the wasted space over the boot of a sedan?)

My question is to those that wreck or know Magnas, Is from the B pillar back - do sedan rear seats fit a wagon -the wagon tilts forward- (with mods or original hardware from the wagon)

And do the door cards fit between the cars?

I ask this as I see plenty of upgrades for my Sports wagon re: seats and trim but 99% are sedans.....

Hi, if the rear door cards are the same would the window mechanisms be the same? ie could I put elec windows from a wagon into a TE sedan with mechanical windows. I know it would involve wiring looms too.

They are interchangeable as I have sedan regs and door looms from a sedan in my wagon you just need the body loom from a sedan

As sedans out number wagons by a large number, if any forum members know what does and doesn't interchange between the cars I for 1 would be happy to know for my TJ wagon, and I hope forum searches might find a few answers.

#1 the sedan boot spoiler doesn't fit the wagon... Yeah well I have never owned a 4 door car so started with a DUH!

#2 rear mufflers are different - different shape in the bends

bought sports muffler but didn't read it was for a sedan, now a shed shelf ornament - DOH!!

If the pipes are the same size I'm sure a bit of cut and shut by a Muffler shop would make it fit.

Rear mufflers are physically the same, just need pipework and bracket mod.

I've managed to fit the sedan sports muffler to my wagon. This is how I did it.
1) cut the front pipe off the old muffler, flush where it goes into the muffler
2) cut the front pipe off the sedan muffler leaving about 40mm of pipe on it
3) cut the rear mount off the new muufler as this hits on the body work
4) joined the old front pipe to the new muffler with a coupler and a couple of exhaust clamps (in hindsight a band clamp would have been neater but I was using stuff I had lying around)
5) attached rear mount direct to muffler
NB front hanger mounts all line up
