I have my stereo and climate control pulled out trying to track down some rattles, etc after an auto electrician had my dash out last week.

I went to put them back in place and found that the white flexi tube that attaches to the back of the climate control has come off (both ends).

I am still looking but have not been able to locate what it attaches to under the dash. The Haynes manual isn't any help and I can't find any forum topics that cover this particular point.

Can anyone assist? :pleasesign:

I'll be outside with my head under the dash,...back later :facepalm

What is this tube fore exactly?
And where did you find the other end?

I found a comment in another thread that said it provides a sample of the air temperature that is being pumped into the cabin. So the "brain" of the climate control unit can work out what it needs to do,...or words to that effect. Sounds reasonable, but I don't know if it is accurate.

With the stereo / climate control unscrewed and pulled towards you look over the top into the dash and about 30cm angled down directly behind where the hose plugs into the climate control head unit you will see a black nozzle about 3 or 4cm long. It just slides on to it. I didn't see it straight away, there was probably a loom or something blocking my view. It was fairly obvious after I did see it. A good torch helps. :dancin:

I plumbs in before the fan (suction side) and draws air over the interior temperature sensor
