I am installing wireless reversing camera in a 2003 magna wagon.

For the camera I know I need to hook into the reversing power supply in the rear. I haven't even got to that but I'll take any tips as I know its going to be a pain getting from the plates (where the camera will be mounted) to the lights. Note: its a wagon.

My question relates to the best power source in the dash. Is there a spare one or whats the best option?

What about the reversing light power supply?

What reversing camera is it?

Alot will tap into the reversing light wire so when the reverse globe is powered so is the camera.

usually the camera is powered by the reverse light which acts as a trigger. i have a stereo which functions as a monitor(powers the camera and recieves trigger off the reverse light).

A power source in the dash would be the cigarette lighter. Plug into the wiring behind. I have just fitted a reversing camera and screen to my wife's Magna T J and that is what was recommended.
