Just wondering to go for neon or LED lighting underneath the car? Anyone seen the LED ones at night? I'm assuming the LED's last longer as i've heard that people have replaced their neons after six months.
Just want to know other peoples thoughts. Oh the colour will be blue in case anyone was curious.

ICELED IS THE WAY TO GO!!

ICELED UFO kit, has something like 2 million colours, super bright and has 11 patterns, you can control just about everything, customise it, tell it which LED to turn on when etc, and has a remote to do it too!

Screw any other LED or neon kit...if you want underbody lighting, this is the one to get!

Mate, the UFO kit goes for $1600 so I think the neons are still a more sensible purchase lol

damn... lol got a set of 4 neons, 2 3.5ft, 2 1.5ft for around $150... ok lol i feel better now

well, i saw a ford go past about 20 mins ago with blue led undercar kit and in my opinion it looked shocking, no real illumnation, just a heap of little blue dots, neons spread out and just look a whole lot better if u ask me (which u didnt, but i dnt care hehe :D ) go neons, the original under car lighting and and still the best :doubt:

YEah I liked Manuals neons.. See how they fill the middle part of the underbody of the car..

Those LED's dont do diddly squat for underneath.. Just project colour out the sides..

Though I am a self confessed ricer, I'm not a fan of underbody lighting...I just don't see the point...especially on a magna

Some LED ones are crappy, you can see each led. But my friend has the change colour ones they are cool. 7 different colours!

not hard to change the led one to make it look better tho, jst frost the tube either with sandpaper or put sumthing over the top of it, disperse the light so it give a more even colour

having said that it would be easier to get neons :P

I'm undecided on the whole under body lighting. Sometimes i see a car and think cool but most of the time i think ricer/try hard.

I have wondered what they would look like on my car...

Anyways, for my 2 cents, I definatly say, go for the Neons if you go for anything and please, plllease do it properly. The number of cheap dodgey jobs I have seen with neons, they just look shocking!

I had blue neons on my 2.4 and it looked awesome. I loved them!

Will be getting some more for the VRX soon. As long as you do it properly then I think they look good. Watch out for the boys in blue. In WA they are legal providing you can't see the source of light.

haha. put it this way if you can afford to spend that much money on a Turbo Skyline or Supra you should be able to afford to go for performance AND looks. Noone said you can't do performance as well as look. After all if you can afford a turbo car why not? Also ricers out there will tell you that green neons add 5kw, red 10kw and blue 20kw. lol
