Hi all , today I went to start my verada gtvi it hesitated at first like the battery was almost dead and then it kicked over I noticed on the dash and had a number 5 blinking and followed by what I believe to be letters L and J . Just wanted to know if anyone knows what this means . I'm not used to mitsubishi , this is my first and I love this car ...

The trip computer has reset itself due to the battery dying. S stands for sedan and W stands for wagon. Press and hold the mode button to what you have. Next screen will be 3.0 or 3.5, again press and hold mode button.

As Mr GQ said, press the MODE button on your dash for less than 2 seconds to switch between the available options — body type (Sedan or Wagon) and engine size (3.5 L or 3.0 L) — and hold it in for more than 2 seconds to select that option.
