hi guys.
i've done a search for my problem and i wouldn't mind knowing what is wrong. The results of my search are either cable, motor, pulley or switch.
My issue is my drivers side power window. Well it became stuck one day, but with a manual pull the window eventually came up. Over a period of a week or 2, the window was only stopping either not far from the bottom or stop 1/2 way, on the way up, but usually at the same area.
This time, with manual pulling the window wouldn't come up, and it was stuck. It would go down, but it wouldn't go up. Eventually it came up, but it did struggle and did get stuck at several places.
When it was stuck, i could hear the motor clicking when i was pulling the button for the window to come up, so i know it's getting a signal.
Does it need oiling?? If it does, why couldn't i pull up the window (with the button pulled up at the same time)
or is it a motor malfunction???
what is going on?
The switch is relatively new, probably less than 12 months old.
