Hi Guys

Sorry for an introduction and question in one post. My name is Nathan and I have an 05 TW VRX AWD, and am just about to lower it. I've just ordered some dobinson's springs, but have a sinking feeling im going to end up lower than I really want.

Currently im riding at 390mm in the front (centre of wheel to guard) and 375mm in the rear. I've ordered dobinsons 'low' springs for the rear, and 'super low' for the front. Were super lows a bad choice?!

If you have a VRX AWD, do you mind if I ask what dobinson spring set up are you running? The search whilst helpful for me, really led me down the FWD route, so im still in the dark a bit on AWD's. Both Dobinsons and there WA rep (Malaga Suspensions) could only give me a vague idea of the outcome of this set up.

Thanks for any help. Its much appreciated.

Dobinsons VRX Lows are 30mm drop from standard magna ride height (I've got these on my AWD and they are very, very good!).
The super lows will drop the front 60mm from standard ride height. Don't install them!! it'll stuff your suspension geometry up, handle like crap and you'll be hitting your bump stops and scraping the driveway.
Send the SLs back and get the Lows for the front.

Thanks Madmagna & ADM. Much appreciated. Crisis averted. I've changed the order on my springs with little hassle. I will post up some pics with ride heights and measurements pre & post install so as to hopefully help others avoid the mistake I almost made.

Cheers Guys
