Hi all
I have a 2006 380. In the last week, something has gone wrong with the alarm.
When I unlock with the key, it is meant to unlock the drivers side and deactivate alarm and on second press, unlock the other doors.

When I press the button now, no matter how many times, it just unlocks the drivers door. The alarm is not deactivated and the other doors do not unlock. I then open the drivers door and the alarm goes off, and I press unlock again and it silences it.

I have tried the second key, which does the same things, and I have also replaced the key batteries.

I have been advised to unplug the battery, but this will reset the in-built GPS/DVD etc which is really hard to get working again.

Does anyone have any suggestions for possibly fixing this issue?

Myself and my neighbours are getting sick of the noise!

I vaugely recall something similar happening to mine a while ago. Turned out to be a faulty drivers door lock actuator. The only temp fix I came up with was putting the key in the lock on the drivers door to gain entry which deactivated the alarm. Once I replaced the faulty actuator it hasn't done it again..
