Hi guys,
Recently I have noticed that my 2004 TL Magna sedan will not warn me if I have left the lights on when I take the key out of the ignition and open the door. This has resulted in a flat battery which required RACV assistance.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, what the remedy was?

I had that problem with my wife's TF one time when I was towing a trailer. The wiring in the trailer shorted out and blew the tail light fuse. I noticed it when I got out of the car and saw that the headlights were still on. Fixed the trailer wiring and replaced the fuse, all OK. Are your tail lights working?

Another thing to check is the door open sensor and key in ignition sensor. Does the interior light come on and will the central locking remote not work with a key in the ignition?
