Anyone know if a TJ series 2 sports dash can be interchange with a series 1?

Series 1 have the mechanical rolling odometer and the series 2 have the electronic one.

I know it's knit picking but the old fashioned mechanical dial seems out of place on my 2001 sports wagon.
