Hi all,

I had my battery disconnected (negative terminal) for about 30min as i changed my steering wheel and since then, the idle is very low that it evens stalls and the auto holds gears longer which is very different...is it in self learning mode as im hoping it will get better?

Yep drive it for 20 Kms or so around town and it will relearn your car and driving style.

Not mentioned anywhere, but the idle needs to come up to a stable and normal level before you drive the car. Just driving the car won't fix the idle, as the ISC control is not active when you have your foot on the accelerator. Nothing worse than having the engine stall as you lift your foot and turn the steering wheel to go around a corner!

That happened to me today, stalled on a roundabout which was interesting.

You are right madmax, as per user manual i let it idle for 10min which was about right where it was stable. I then ran thru the above relearn for the transmission and it seems good...idle is still slightly dipping but not stalling :)

Thanks again for the info and guidance guys!
