View Full Version : Replace rear speakers 380 s2 sx

hello, i have searched and found one good result for removing the rear parcel shelf speakers in the mitsubishi 380 however my trim level may be different to in the picture..

If anyone has this model and has replaced the speakers some help would be great thankyou.

The parcel shelf is carpeted and it looks very awkward getting at the bolts suggested here:

I also cant see how the bolts would link up to the speaker covers. thanks

The rear speaker covers just push in - if you open up the boot, you will see four plugs on each. You can use a solid item (e.g. end of a screwdriver) to pop the plugs out from underneath. Speakers just unscrew from top. A socket may help to undo the screws holding them in place. The rear speakers plug in to a slightly unusual factory plug, which you will either need to cut off or find an adaptor to suit if you replace the speakers (I'm guessing this is what you're doing?).
