Hey all, will cut to it, bought new leads, plugs, dizzy cap and air filter, fuel filter for the tp, a mate went and disconnected the leads/plugs etc thinking he knew better, bottom line not sure now which lead went where except the middle one, the firing order is 1-3-4-2 i believe, but he dismantled the lot, took the leads off the cap aswell as the plugs without noting anything down ( i was busy doing the air filter and replacing interior parts while he done it ). so is there any chance anyone has a photo or some form of intelligence more than myself ( more so my mate ) as to where the leads go on the plugs and cap ( assuming for now the longest goes to piston one and so on and so forth ? they go by length along the plugs end ) but the position of the cap and the plugs is the concern.....

one three four two clockwise at you look at the top of the dissy and the cap

cap only goes on one way

take out number one spark plug .. take to compression stroke and TDC ... rotor is to number one .. go around from there

number one is closest to the timing chain

Thanks yet again Buff. old girl is running like a charm now with new air\fuel filters, leads, plugs and cap. temp gauge still going up a fair bit so will grab a new thermostat, replace a few things such as put on new hoses all round while am at repco or autobarn, and got a valve regrind set on order.
