My GT does not have either by the looks of it.

I have found the part # for the carpet and clips but there is a few mentions of "the handle" to go with it.

Does anybody have a part number for this?

Also chasing a photo or 2 (or more) of the underside of a bootlid with the carpet and/or handle to see what it looks like.

Thanks.

Maybe the car was previously in an accident and they ordered a replacement bootlid without the carpet, etc?

Here's a pic of a boot lid liner with handle, it's not my car, I have found it on the internet

The GT should have come with a boot liner. I ordered one from Mitsubishi when I had my VRX. The car already had the handle. I would say you can get the handle from wreckers aswell as the carpet from any 380 GT..

Good luck finding the boot lid liner at a wreckers!
I spent years looking for one for my old 380, and the only one I ever found was mangled anyway.
I ended up stumping up around $150 to buy a brand new one from the stealership.
I think it came with a handle, but I suspect I already had one fitted anyway, and that was on a base model 2005.

Curious to know what part number you used.. I never got the handle with mine.

My memory is shite these days so I simply can't remember whether I already had a handle fitted or I got one with the new liner.
I reckon it's most likely I already had one on the car, and I suspect it's a standard fitting on all 380s.
If so it seems it seems the OP's GT has had the boot lid repaired or replaced and they 'forgot' both the liner and the handle. In which case I'd be going back to the repairer and insist they complete the job (unless it was a previous repair and that's how he bought the car).
Sorry, no part number, the receipt is long gone. Although the new owner of my old 380 (a member on here) might still have it, I gave him a manilla folder chocko with all the receipts for all the work and parts I did/put on the car.

Gas_Hed has only recently purchased the car. So if it was a repair it would be a previous one. So that's why he is chasing one down for it.

I cannot speak directly for the GT, however I do know that MMAL dropped the boot handle either very late in Series II, or with the start of Series III builds. The dealer that sold me my 380 was very annoyed at the handle being dropped and he was fitting the handle to all cars that he sold during delivery, I watched him fit the handle to my 380.

The other interesting point is that for Series III MMAL also dropped the hooks in the boot for the cargo net. I was actually shown the bulletin that dealers received re this. If you want these hooks they can be purchased via spare parts and DIY fitted. I purchased the hooks when I got my cargo net.

Looks like the part number for the trim is MN177073HA (Trim-Trunk Lid-Grey). No separate part listed for the handle itself from what I can see. Possibly the trim came packaged with the handle all as a single kit?

Sorry to dig up an old thread... the OP has probably moved on by now!

These are the part numbers that I ordered in order to put a Boot Lid carpet on my 380. Everything went on O.K.

-380 GT Boot Lid Carpet - 1 x MN177073HA (Trim), 12 x MN189333 (Clips)

This confirms 380mitsu's part number.

My car already have the handle on it.
