Hi,
I just purchased a 2002 lancer GLi 1.8.
There are pics in my profile album. The paintwork in reality doesn't look quite as good as in the pics though.
It has had the springs lowered so it is like getting in and out of a go kart.

Can someone please advise whether this will pass rego with lowered springs in NSW?
If not what is necessary to make them standard again?

What is the point of of lowering the springs other than a low look? I suppose it handles corners faster?

It doesnt look too bad. If you can fit a coke can itll be fine. Bringing them back wont be overly involved if it doesnt. Its lowered because full sick uleh.

Hey cuppas thanks for the reply. Yeah it looks great. The problem for me is that getting out of such a low vehicle with my double hip replacements is a bit awkward sometimes. If it makes them play up too much I may have to undo it.

One other question has popped up though. Is it possible to get the jack under the skirt to jack it up using the jacking points? Don't want to get down on all fours at this point to find out.
