First I would like to say HELLO everybody:facejump: Im writing from Poland and I have a little problem.
I need a few information about Magna/Diamante 3,5 v6 6g74 engine .I have Galant 6a13 2,5 v6 (Eu,jap ver. Its different from US ver.).I Bought Magna in very good price and very healthly engine.Im waiting till my Magna arrive to Poland,end of month I hope. I want to swap 6g74 with 5speed m/t tranny,wires,ecu and everything from Magna to my ea5a ,I know that is two different engines,but maybe its possible to do this swap, without bags of $$$;) I need to know weight of 6g74,where are situated motor mounts on engine block and where they in engine bay ,I want to compare them with 6a13 and find way how to attach 6g74 in 6a13 engine bay. Ill be grateful for any pictures(mayby somebody have picture of clear Magna engine bay or only 6g74 pictures where I could see places of motor mounts) and advices/tips...
Can someone decode this vin number, I need to know horsepower of this car.
This is VIN: 6MMTL7D424T014968
What is the different beetwen VR-x,Ralliart and ES version of car? I know that compression ratio in vr-x and ralliart is 9,4;1 ,what more ,only mechanic parts,ECU is the same?
Can I upgrade ES to VR or Ralliart?
I know that my English isn’t very well ,so please forgive me;)

6 = made in Australia
MM = Mitsubishi motors
TL = model, about 2004.
Rest?
It would have a 3.5L V6 24 valve engine.

To begin with the comp ratio is only different on the Ralliart, the VRX and all sub models have the identical motor
Your car would be the FWD Galant, to be honest, aside from drive shafts fitting of this should not be much of an issue. You will need to adapt in the wiring and engine management, get the ECU unlocked so as no issues with immobilser however all is certainly doable.
Seems strange however you are importing an Australian Made Magna only to then tear it apart for parts.
BTW the one you are importing is an ES model, was the base model here.

This is import from austarlia to irlandia then to poland.First idea was to swap 6a13tt from legnum but its expensive engine ,older,and harder to find in good condition so 6g74 is alternative.
I want to swap everything,It would be easier if I have galant us gtz...
I need real spec of this car in base (es) model;horsepower,weight of sedan with manual(important),torque,whats tranny sit there etc.
Madmax if U give me full spec of vin I would be very grateful.
Can I get somewhere ecu from ralliart?
Btw thanks for respond;)

For the ECU related stuff, you might find some of the information in the thread linked in my signature of interest... A bit of googling with a search term like "Australia Mitsubishi Magna TL" is likely to turn up the technical specifications you are looking for. There is also a downloadable workshop manual that some googling should find too...

My Magna looks like this car -> http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/Mitsubishi-Magna-2003/SSE-AD-2768093/?Cr=16&sdmvc=1
I cant find free workshop manual ,everywhere is to Magna but it looks a little bit different(prelift?)
What is Kerb weight ? Is weight with fluids and full of benzine?
In documents is 1590kg.
In auction from link is Kerb weight 1508kg.
Im curious how much Magna is heavier than Galant (1340 half of benzine)
What is acceleration from 0-100km with auto tranny and manual in model ES model from 2004?

Its secon week till I have Magna,since I have this car I dont want to drive my galant 8g;)
I begin to wonder how to do LHD conversion,becouse car is in very good condition, and its first Magna in Poland.;)
Fuel consumption is 13,23 per 100km, only city,start&stop,short track.
I have question about headers/extractor manifolds, hurricane,rpw,peacemaker...which of them are good? Hurricane are to expensive so please something in better price.;)
What gains should I expect?
What about instant power kits for Magna? where can I buy them, what price?
Ill be thankful for help.

LHD conversion?
The American Diamante is LH drive, you may be able to do the conversion with parts from the USA.
No idea what parts you would need, other than steering column, dash, steering rack, seats.
You would be the first to try this so good luck!

someone know do camshafts from Eclipse 3g (6g72) fit plug&play to 6g74 ?
What with ECU,flash or ECU from GTS?
I heard that they are better for 6g74 than stock cams.
