You need to do a bit of Googling to find out when Mitsu introduced OBD2/CANBUS on cars sold in your country (?) as it varies.

Can't tell unless you say what country, what year VRX, and where the car was made.

Hi Made in Adelaide lives in New Zealand and its 2005 model first rego 2006.

I know the US Diamante has OBD2 (and possibly CANBUS) because it was required by US law, but if yours is a straight import from Australia and you don't have local laws mandating OBD2 on new cars from a certain date it is unlikely to have OBD2.

Sorry to be so vague. Perhaps check with local Mitsu dealers - ask straight out which scanner suits your car - or wait for someone with more local knowledge to chime in?

It won't have CANBUS. I think that there is only a very slim chance it has OBD2. Sadly, Evoscan (http://www.evoscan.com/) in my limited experience doesn't always accurately report the meaning of MUT trouble codes (it doesn't actually show the code), probably because it has been configured for Evos.
