Hi Guys. I have a small hairline crack in my radiator at the top near the cap,
Is it repairable or should i replace the radiator,
I also noticed that the passenger thermo fan didnt kick on when the drivers side did, do they run off the same relay or separate?

get a new radiator they are cheap enough not worth repairing.

+1 for a new radiator. Easy job to change. As well, put your aircon on and see if the other fan comes on then.

I'm gonna get so shot down for saying this but depending on how much you care about the car and if you're just looking for another 6 months plus of driving then put some chemiweld in there and it'll seal up good as can be expected after about 10 minutes.
If you're looking after the car then not a hard job to get a radiator and aftermarket is fine, doesn't have to be genuine - aftermarket can start at $110 with shipping on ebay if you look around

The vibration of the top water hose eventually cracks all top tanks, If you are hard up for cash use some high temp epoxy seal to put a patch over the crack - I did that for nearly a year (had to repatch every 3 months or so) on the old TH until I eventually bit the bullet and replaced it.
P.S. shop around for radiator prices too there was nearly $300 in price difference in quotes I got and the cheapest price ended up being from the local Mitsi dealer!

$200 from Ebay incl shipping delivered same day.
I did try JB weld on the crack first didn't work crack showed up next day same spot.
Local raditor place quoted me $400 with Koyo and $430 with Genuine mist .
Pretty easy job to do yourself took me and my old man 2 hours , Never done radiator swap before.

JB is a remarkable product but too stiff for a flexible surface, a high temp 2 part epoxy (Can't remember the brand) that is flexible worked for me as a temp fix for those poverty forum searchers.
