Thought i'd start a poll just for the AWD drivers.
Post your fuel economy like in L/100 km?

Now economy also depends on driving style and conditions, so would you post your typical result, i.e. Whats it typically showing when you look at the trip computer?

Did a trip yesterday from Ringwood to Wilsons Promontory and achieved 9.5 ... With one passenger onboard.
Typically i do city/highway in traffic and get around 12.5 which i think is not bad.

Well as you said it depends on driving style and conditions.
I have a habit of resetting my TL's computer whenever I fill up. I have seen less than 8 showing on my computer for a short time when the car is already warm and I fill up, reset and continue down the highway. I have seen 8-9 numerous times in similar circumstances, including several times when I used half a tank or more and kept this average. More often though trips are a combination of driving styles and I more commonly use 9-10 when touring.
Recently I filled up and reset in Lithgow and was averaging 9.1 when I arrived in Mudgee. Some winery visits with 4 adults, 1 toddler and a few cases of wine increased this to just over 10 and I then got back to Sydney on the same tank and was comfortably below 10 again by the time I arrived.
On the other end of the spectrum a TL AWD is not an economical car for urban driving, which most of you already knew. I have been driving to work in recent months and seem to be using about 14 L / 100 km for this because of the traffic, cold weather, hilly terrain and car park that I deal with. More stop-start traffic could potentially get me to 15-16 though I don't average this over a few days of driving. Less traffic helps obviously, as does warmer air in the morning.
BTW KWAWD does eg "up to 8 L/100 km" mean 7-8 or 8-9? I'm having a hard enough time picking my 'typical' result(!).

I meant 7-8 for that slot. I'll reword the first slots terminology!

Yes, its all subjective, but lets see what these cars are typically delivering to us AWD drivers.

Most of the time my TJ S2 sits between 12-13
the highest I've ever had it is 13.6, but that was the result of some... shall we say, "spirited" driving *cough* racing *cough*
though I typically reset my computer at every refill, the couple times I haven't the results have been the same
Best result was a highway trip from Cairns back to Townsville, got a decent 8.9 with a single passenger

Typically, I do alot of hwy driving when I'm on break, going up to my other property. Most times I average around 8.9-9.5L/100km.
Around town, it rises to around 11-12. Best I ever got was in the 7's.

Average to date (over 106,315km) is 12.99L/100km. This includes a 42,200 trip around Oz with 26,630km of that towing a caravan @ ~14.17L/100km overall. Excluding the 'big trip', the average works out to 12.21L/100km. I fitted a set of HM headers in November last year and there has been a noticeable improvement in economy. The average over the 15,800km before then was 12.12L/100km. The average over 15,555km since then is 11.24L/100km. Around town, consumption is now typically ~12.5-13L/100km and, on the highway, ~8.5L/100km.
