View Full Version : Installing electric seat into TJ2 with plug, fuse required?
Hey everyone, Ive recently installed an electric seat in my TJ2, ive got the wiring and can plug the seat straight in although it doesnt work. Im assuming there is a fuse required, i've looked in the fuse box in the engine bay and the one near the driver footwell although cant see anything that resembles an electric seat. Does anyone know?
Cheers

Have you tested the plug for power yet?
Can't at the moment, my multimeter is dead. When i plugged in the seat it doesnt work although when i directly hook it up to a battery it works fine. So i doubt its got power.

The power seat fuse isn't on the fusebox, it is in a smaller 4 position fuse box to the firewall side. You may need this.

I'm assuming i shouldnt need to run extra power as ive already got the plug in the loom..

Unrelated, but when I was installing the pillar lights in my TJ2, the loom only had one plug on the passenger side, and it didn't power the light up.
