I have Series 2 Magna Exec LE, and when I have the cruise control on and i press the switch down to set cruise speed, the throttle goes to near full without my inputting any throttle at all and it just keeps accelerating. I have maintained a steady speed on a flat road and set it but it still does the same thing. when I flick the switch up (to accelerate) nothing happens if I leave my foot off the accelerator I just keep decelerating.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks in advance guys!

I've done a bit of Googling on this issue for you. The universal answer seems to be that the processor controlling the throttle is fried. It's contained in a little box under the dash. It needs to be replaced. Wait for the more technical guys to reply (as I may be very wrong) but if they agree then ask them where the control unit is and then get yourself another one new or from the wreckers.

Thanks mate, I was really surprised when I pressed the switch down and it accelerated like a bat out of hell, lol went from 40 to 65 in around a second. I'm going to replace my current steering wheel with a Ralliart one (hopefully) in the next few weeks so will go to the wreckers after I have installed the new wheel.
