Hi Guys

Handbrake on my GTV is not working.... at all

I have the normal amount of travel in the handbrake lever, around 5 clicks

Upon removal of on of the hubs I find everything appears normal, however the handbrake shoes do not move, at all

Is there a common problem to look for?, seems like cable is jammed, but the cables appear to be moving under the centre console

Any suggestions before I put the front of the car on stands also and drag my arse under the car looking for something I dont know what im looking for!

Jack the REAR up and look at where the cables come out of the bodywork. If the connection for the outer part of the cable lets go, you have no handbrake. While under the car, get someone to work the handbrake and see what is up.

Jackstands recommended. If you are skinny enough, you may not need to jack it up.
