Just wondering if anyone has fitted strut braces to their AWD and if there was much benefit?

Member here in WA has and fits well. I also have one (Whiteline Performance) on my FWD TW VRX. I can't tell the difference straight up because i rarely, if ever drive my car to an extent that extra bracing is required. I bought it purely for show and because it was on sale at the point of time.

Overall, if you want it to do something I'd consider it, but if you want it for looks (like me XD) then go for it!

Fitted a Whiteline strut brace to my TJ AWD. Didn't notice any improvement in steering/cornering. Sold it to a member on AMC.

A strut brace you will not notice any improvement on the street. On a race track it will stop some flexing on hard cornering. I've seen some cracks appear near the fire wall on racing magnas. Other than that its just for looks.

Also, from memory, the AWDs have a stiffer firewall compared to FWDs and especially the L and W series which had strengthened body parts etc so will notice benefits of bracing much less.

I fitted a strut brace to my TW AWD only coz it looks good. And I figured since the higher spec 380s came factory with them, it must be beneficial.

I say I'd have to agree with you sir, 380 were quite the car in their day and a bar was of much benefit. I say fit one! and don't look back
