Same old story, my TCL comes on all the time triggering the engine management light to light up too. It lights up mostly when slowing down in traffic and the 5 speed tippy is coming back to say 3rd gear. But also happens just driving down the freeway at 100 kms in 5th. Have read some who say theirs comes on when it's a hot day , mine it doesn't matter what the day like. It will come on sometime s as soon as the car is started or will take a little longer , but every time the car is driven it comes on sooner or later.

My experience has been with the "TCL Off" light (did you mean that one?). Try pulling out & pushing back in the electrical connection to the solenoid a few times. Its high up on the left of the firewall (so to your right when standing at the front of the car).

TCL Solenoid, mine did this when I first bought my KJ. The engine bay was insanely clean so I assumed the previous owner steam cleaned the engine bay and damaged the TCL solenoid.
Easy fix, just go a wrecker and buy a new solenoid or both with a warranty.
