Hey guys,

I discovered earlier today, during my weekly checkup, that it would seem that I'm leaking from around the oil filler cap. After doing some reading, it seems that the caps wear out at around the 10 year point, which means that mine is pretty much right on cue, being a '95. I've also read that the PCV valve can become gunked up, so I'll be checking that tomorrow as well. In case I have to buy a new oil cap, would this one (http://www.supercheapauto.com.au/online-store/products/Tridon-Oil-Cap-TOC66.aspx?pid=101831#Cross) be the correct one? It looks identical to the current one, but I just wanted to make sure before wasting the whopping amount of money that is $13.98.

You don't need a new oil cap.
You do need to clean out the pcv system.

Can you get a new seal for the Magna Caps.? I just did for the Pajero cap as it was leaking and it was about $3-5. Cheap and easy fix..
