Hi guys

I've recently bought a roofliner for my TJ MY02 Magna which came from a TJ Series II AWD. After fitting it we've found that the dome light is in a different position, it's further forward on the TJ Series II then it is on the TJ MY02. As such, the dome light can't be screwed in (or made functional) because the screw points are up to 10cm further back and completely hidden under the roofliner.

Is there a bracket I can get from a TJ Series II that will correct this or are all of the mount points spot welded to the roof, i.e. I'm in trouble?

Just recover your old headling, its not that hard, I done mine in my old TS cost me about $100 all up, there's videos on youtube to show you how its done.

That reminds me, my TJ needs doing again. It went 2 years ago, and got one from the wreckers. Now that is starting to let go. Cleaned and kept the original backing, so easy job.

It's spot welded to the roof, otherwise we would have done that yesterday. (unless there's something we were missing)
