Just wondering if anyone has tinted their wagon tail lights?

I've tried exterior spray on (nite-shade) looks pretty bad. Considered cracking them open and spraying the insides although theres not really much to spray. I've also tried wrapping them although that didnt end well.

If anyone has tinted them feel free to post a pic

Cheers

No need to tint it. And if you want a change then apply a semi transparent coloured tape on it so that new shade of light will come out.

H John, drop round mine at some point and I'll show you what I've done with an old set from that wreck. I haven't tinted them yet, but I popped them open and there will be a couple of issues

Thanks mate, ill have a look sometime. There isnt much in there to tint compared to the sedan tail lights.

No, but there are issues with trying to open the tailights and then the reflector

Pretty much illegal i thought as changes the light output and regarded as dangerous.
The lights on cars are a certain brightness for a reason and thats headlight too.
How is anyone going to see indicators flashing or brake lights coming on in bright sunlight!!! DOH

Nope it voids your insurance AND you are also liable for the damage to the car that ran into you. Plus looks silly in my opinion.
