So everything works (back, up, decline, incline etc) but pushing forward is so very hit and miss. 9/10 times forward won't work. So I have to flick back and forward quickly (and not an ideal solution) to finally get forward movement.

My body is very ADD with seating positions so everyonce in a while I want to change the position (or if it has been moved by someone else).

So just a case of bad luck with age or something? When my power window console blew it killed the electric seat completely but this function was resolved after the windows were sorted. Am thinking somehow related to this? TL VRX fyi.

I had the same problem. Once my friend and I took apart the switch we noticed that it was missing a ball on the inside, which prevented it from going forward (meaning someone tried to fix it but lost the ball doingso)

So, we installed a separate toggle switch for just forward motion and left the original switch from up/down and backwards

My GTV drivers seat wouldn't move backwards when I installed it - just had to replace the switch
