Hi guys,
I had a leak coming from the distributor.
I bought a new o-ring and replaced it, however the leak hasn't stopped, if anything it has gotten worse.
Is there any other place there could be a leak from in that area?
It is not the rocker covers, it is definitely coming out of the distributor.
Additionally, is there some special procedure in installing the o-ring, or some common mistakes that could have caused this leak?

Sounds like you may have pinched the O ring. Did you clean the dizzy shaft, the O ring groove and the head before trying to put it back in? I use a dab of rubber grease on the seal prior. Never had a drama.

I did not really clean anything, just wiped a bit.
Does this mean I buy another o-ring and try again?
What do I do different this time around?

I'd take the dizzy back out again and check the O ring for damage. Clean thoroughly the areas I mentioned above. A dab of rubber grease or a few drops of clean engine oil on the shaft and seal and GENTLY slide it back in. Hopefully this will sort your problem. Obviously if your existing O ring is undamaged. If you have nicked or pinched it you'll need a new one.
