hey, I have a 2002 vrx with 130000kms
I noticed a little while a go that i was loosing coolant slowly, need to top it up every couple of weeks
i found a trail of coolant and thought that it may have been from the thermostat but it seems to be coming from up a little further, heres a couple of pics:
this is the coolant everywhere:

this shows the coolant trail up past the thermostat, there doesnt seems to be any evidence that the thermostat is leaking.

can anyone tell me what could be up there that could leak or corrode so i can purchase some parts before pulling it all apart, is there any rubber seals up there?
any info would be appreciated

Best off looking at it with an inspection mirror and a torch. That way you can do a thorough visual check before pulling things apart. Could be anything from a loose coolant hose clamp, damaged hose, leaking O ring seals on water pipe fittings, gaskets etc etc.
