Hey guys

Just getting ready to install my second battery isolator, I need to find a source of ignition power, somewhere that still supplies power while the engine is cranking

Where would I find that source of power under the dash! I dont want to run another wire from engine bay to boot...

You can pick it up from the column where the ignition switch is. The climate control unit only gets power with the ignition on. The fuel pump would be best if you want to run it to the boot, just tap into the wiring under the back seat. Have a look at the wiring diagram for more ideas.

How many amps?
If only low easiest is ciggy socket wire, run it straight under the carpet into boot.

Thats a good question, I have no idea how many amps, I believe all it is is a switch wire, dont think there is much current draw....will check out the ciggy lighter socket

Cheers for this! Im setting up a couple of extra ciggy outlets with USB ports for charging phones... this will do very nicely thanks! Im assuming this is the plug attached to the console inner frame, under the ciggy lighter and cup holders?
