Does anyone know why it dosn't work on mine and almost every other 2nd gen magna i see?
I thought it was becuase my fuse for the interior light was blown but it still didn't work after replacing that fuse.

every time i see a 2nd gen magna around my area, (well, most of the time :D ) it usually has one brake light not working. It's happenned to me a couple of times, and i reckon i've replaced each brake light once (left rear light twice).
It was an easy fix for me though, just replace the bulb and it worked fine. ****ty mitsu globes!!!!

its not the globes. Its how you install them. When replacing a globe your actually not sposed to touch them with your hands. The oil and dirt on your hands leaves a residue on the globes. As the globes function at a really high temperature this destroys the gobe over time. Its recommended to intall all globes wearing woollen or cotton gloves to make sure no crap gets on them. Also you cant use plastic gloves coz the softener in them which makes the plastic soft leaves a residue on the globes as well.

Thats because most of them don't know their lights are not working. I've got 6 night lights and
7 brake lights and they all work.

I decided to get of my lazy ass and have a look at it. Looks like the globe is blown but it also looks like some other bright person in the past decided to try and check by pullling the cord through the boot underneath the parcel shelf.
So the little plastic bits that hold it in the reflector section are broken off (they were rattling around inside it). So even when i replace the globe i still gotta work out how to get it to stay in there, thinking maybe just some blue tack or sticky tape.
i took my parcel shelf light out.....was vibrating too much from the sub, mainly coz it was cracked inside so i could never do it up tight.......ahh well. :P

lol when i first bought my car it didn't work then about 3 months after driving i realised it was working again  , but then about a month later it stopped again and hasn't worked the last 6months, havn't been bothered to fix it yet LOL, and my car hasn't run on LPG for over a year and i still have my lpg stickers on my license plate, anyone ever tried to get them off? its really hard without digging half the license plate out :(.

My gf's gotten out and abused someone who had all their lights out and i nearly rear ended em... idiots..

What your saying is really a problem with halogen bulbs (headlight,spot/fog light) not so much low wattage standard bulbs <25Watts. :)
