Hey everyone. Just need some help with a new rear muffler. Im going to be putting a VRX kit on soon and wanted to know if any VRX rear mufflers will simply bolt straight on to my stock exhaust? Read a few threads that suggest that my stock exhaust is either 2.3 or 2.5 inch and that the VRX is 2.5 too...

Or, will a TJ sports fit? Theyre a single pipe are they not? Was thinking I could fit one of these with a tip to fit the VRX kit exhaust cut out...

Any advice appreciated. Pretty much happy to keep it simple, no need for preformance upgrades, just need to have an exhaust tip showing, instead of an empty hole lol

Vrx muffler will bolt straight up ..would be better to use one of these as the tip is correct

Sports rear mufflers used a single droop pipe ,so you wil need to get that cut off and relaced

VRX and Sports are the same muffler ,just different tips.

Thanks mate. I might try and get the muffler from the car I got the kit off if its still there...

Forgot to ask about brackets and mounts. Will I need to modify the stock mounts\bracket(s) at all?
