I am looking to replace the indicator globes from my tail lights with amber bulbs. The new tail lights I'm installing don't have amber in the tail light itself so I need an amber bulb. I've looked for the exact bulb online and cant find any. What am I able to replace it with? I know it has to be a wedge bulb.

Went today and they said that size isnt actually made in amber. How else would I be able to source the correct size amber bulbs?

Years ago I bought a bottle of the correct paint to colour my own globes. Brush on, nail polish sized bottle. Takes 2 or 3 coats to get the right colour depth.
BUT Supercheap should have them, according to:
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SCA-Automotive-Globe-Wedge-Amber-12V-21W-2-Pack-/221417251570?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item338d7f22f2
Or buy them online, if you don't mind waiting.

I pulled the indicator bulb out of the tail lights and it was a 15mm bulb. I've found 15mm amber bulbs from a place in the uk. I am wondering if these would fit or not?

The physical size of the globe doesn't matter so much, as long as it fits in the socket and the globe fits through the hole in the back of the tail light.
I'd go back to Supercheap and order them. Maybe print out the eBay Supercheap ad and show them?

The largest size that can fit in that socket is 15mm bulbs I'm going to search online for amber bulbs in 15mm size with a wedge base

Went to supercheap today, the 20mm bulbs are too big so bought 10mm amber SCA bulbs for $2.50 (http://m.supercheapauto.com.au/Product/SCA-Automotive-Globe-Wedge-12V-5W-2-Pack/120226) and they work but the indicator flicks too quickly? I'm wondering if there is an easy fix for this?

Cool I've still got the original globes and they work but i have different tail lights i haven't put in yet that have the orange plastic removed from the indicator lens. So need an amber bulb, can always resort to bulb paint if need be.
