Hi everyone, my dad and i are stumped. I bought a Verada off my pop, who kept it down at the coast, and we have brought it back to a way drier place (i figure i better start with this as it may help).
So, the TCL OFF and the ENGINE light started coming on after the drive back to my home town(About 6 hours) For this entire time it was fine or at least i didn't notice it coming on during the drive.
NOW, we used the diagnosis mode using the wire and pin 1 on the OBD, and the engine light flashed error code 71 + 72. ALSO the N light on the gear lights was flashing, I'm pretty sure it was 2 times a second meaning the ATF Fluid is too hot.
The AT Fluid was borked, and by borked i mean sooty black, so we replaced that and the AT seems to be running fine but alot better than it was. Haven't checked to make sure the light is off.
HOWEVER after resetting the error code it came back within minutes. SO any ideas fellow Mitsubishi lovers?
ALSO, the battery was fried after the drive and had dropped a cell(now replaced) the alternator regulator was also dead(replaced)
We also removed an electronic braking device just in case.
