What are some good headlight cases, or complete mods that are legal to put on?
I originally had a light black tint on my headlights but apparently they're illegal here in Sydney despite letting more than 35% of the light through.
I like the whole angel eyes thing, but as long as it's not my yellowing headlights I'm happy with them.
+1 for xenon type looks.
What mods do you guys have, and what would you recommend?

Look through maggie3.5's Member's Machines thread for his cars to get some ideas as he has had more lighting modifications on his cars than the rest of AMC put together lol

Tinting headlights is illegal in Australia and is dangerous. The 35% VLT is for front door windows. There are products that can remove the surface tarnish to make it clear again. Did it for the wife's Ford Festiva. If you have the standard headlights and not the Sports/VRX/Verada parabolics then fitting a pair of decent bulbs like Philips Extreme or Narva Blue Power (both of which are 100% legal with ADR approval) will provide heaps of improvement. The parabolics don't illuminate as well as the standard headlights.

I must've misunderstood then. Goodbye $50 in cheap overseas accessories.
I've got some actual HID conversion type light bulbs coming but I really want to know how I can replace the actual headlight unit. Wouldn't mind buying a replacement. This time I'll be sure to research more.
Just go to a wrecker and buy a decent set of headlights to play with. There are steps on here on how to take it apart and fit HIDs. You basically bake it in the oven until the glue softens so you can pry the front lens apart from the body. Anyhow, you have to remember that this mod is also technically illegal as HID fitments in Australia (ADR again) must have headlight washers and auto levelling.

Research more and you will find that the definitive answer to installing HID in either std or Paras is just plain wrong ,dangerous ,stupid ..etc .etc

He is only wanting to install hid globes ...not projectors ,so there is NO NEED to take the headlights apart.
