Gday all

I've got a 1996 TE/KE magna (2.4 litre straight 4), and the alternator needs fixing / replacing.
Have made a few calls, and though no-one can give me a concrete quote, looks like itll be around the $500 mark for a new alternator fitted.

Would prefer to come armed with a functioning refurbished one, and get that fitted. Looks like a pretty simple job if you have the right setup and tools.

Would this part be suitable?

If not, could anyone point me in the direction of the correct option?

Cheers

Before you change alternator try just replacing the voltage regulator on it they are about 10 bucks from the wreckers

What's the problem. Why do yo think the alternators stuffed. Where in NSW are you at?
