Hey all, is the stock TJ rear muffler a Walker? And do Walker make a rear muffler thats similar to the OEM sports? Have a Walker on mine and wondering if its a decent after market one or stock...

Cheers all!!

Decent aftermarket. I don't think they do a sports style. The closest was a lukey, but I can't recall the part number

The original muffler has a Mitsu diamond pressed in the body. Walker is an after market muffler, made by Lukey.

The original probably rusted out on the pipes, they tend to go at the front pipe at the top of the curve. I've replaced both TJ and TL rears for that reason.

Thanks for the replies! Thought it was aftermarket because I noticed that the twin pipes "look" wider than stock... thats why I thought that it was hopefuly a "sports" variant, thus being highflow! Def not a Lukey with the single VRX style pipe though...

Redback do a "Sports" rear muffler (single larger dump pipe) that is as-good or better than the OEM one. Have one on mine and it sounds very nice and seems to flow well and is definitely less restrictive than the "twin-pipe" rear can.

Ive got a rear VRX bumper kit to put on, so looking for something to fit that. Found one at wreckers but piping was rusted, stupidly didnt think of replacing the pipe and left it... went back to get it and theyd crushed the whole car already lol was hoping my walker was highflow so i could just put a suitable tip on it for the kit... ill search the wreckers again this weekend :)
