Hi guys , I have a 03 tj magna and Also a written of tl magna , is it possible to upgrade the front on my tj to that of the tl/tw ? I have everything here I'm just wondering if it will all bolt up?

I asked this question before and was told the whole front has to be cut off and welded. Panels do not just bolt up.

Can't say for sure but I imagine it would not be straightforward, otherwise you'd hear more of this sort of thing being done

Anything is possible, however it's not just a quick panel swap as the radiator support is completely different and would need to be cut and welded.. Even then I'm not sure if any other mods are needed

The only TJ to TL body conversion I know of is Ovakil: the V8, fully custom show car. The car was originally a 2003 TJ (can't remember what the variant was, but someone here will know — I've seen pictures of it during construction, pre-TL conversion), and I heard that it was donated by Mitsubishi. Because it was donated, Mitsubishi required the car be converted to the TL body once the L series was released (also in 2003), to promote the new models rather than the old one.

As has been said, there's significant cutting and welding to be done to change from one body shape to the other, but anything is possible; even a V8 Magna.
