So I bought a new MSC105C A/C compressor for my KF 'Rada and it doesn't fit because my car has a MSC105CF.
I see other 3.5 model Magnas use the MSC105C compressor so is the only difference the mounting bracket?
I'd like to use the new MSC105C on my car because I got it for a song ($100) and I'd rather pay the going rate for the correct bracket mount, rather than fit a 2nd hand MSC105CF.
Thoughts?
Ian.

Not sure what the compressor differences are as I've mainly worked on TJ-TW models. Could always have a look through some vehicles at a U pullit wreckers to compare the differences. Find the same compressor then compare hose fitting sizes, mounting brackets etc before grabbing what you need.

Check your electrical connection too. Mitsubishi changed these a number of times. I've got a 6/00 TH and a 9/00 TJ and the connectors are totally different.

OK
TE and TF had 1 bracket, TH another but similar compressor, all with 4 pin plugs
TJ then changed compressor all together and only use a single pin plug
While a TJ compressor with the TJ bracket can be used on the TF no worries, will require different hoses as well as re wire of the plug, only need the power wire out of the 4 pin plug if that makes sense.
Note, all of these did have different brackets however the brackets can be changed

Thanks Mal, just what I need to know. Sounds like I need a TH/KH bracket to mount a MSC105C compressor to my KF.
Do you have one you can sell me? I can bring the compressor over to confirm fitment.
