Hi everyone.
Some idiot backed into the TL the other day, luckily we got her details and the bumper was replaced with new through insurance.
Once we got it back, we noticed the three point Mitsubishi symbol badge on the front bumper had been glued up. I enquired with the repairer, and they said the one Mitsubishi provided didn't fit and so they were forced to remove the one from the old bumper and couldn't remove it without it breaking.
They followed it up with Mitsubishi who said they don't have any left in stock, but the alternative part they supplied should fit.
The repairer is adamant that the replacement part does not fit the TL bumper because of the somewhat sharp nose on the TL, and that's why they used the old one.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Is it impossible to get the TL front badge? Has anyone managed to get a replacement from another Mitsubishi model which fits correctly on the TL?
